Provide leadership and ultimately be responsible for the on-court performance and success of the Women's NBL1 team.Key ResponsibilitiesCoach in the NBL1 preseason and official season, as a senior leader of the East Perth Eagles Women's team.Attend all NBL1 training sessions and games and lead the preparation of the team and game strategies.Understand and work inside the directions of the EPDBA board.Engage with sponsors, media, local basketball community and other key stakeholders to foster a positive image of the Eagles.Development and execution of the training plan (pre-season and in-season) for the team and individuals.Understand and meet the programs financial budgets.Promote, foster and advance the EPDBA profile and club ethos.Work with the General Manager and appointed NBL1 Committee to identify and recruit players.Work with D-League and WABL coaches to provide a pathway from juniors to seniors.Promote a supportive, high-performance Eagles NBL1 Basketball environment.Recruit and manage all team staff and personnel including assistant coaches and managers.Abide by the policies and decisions of EPDBA concerning player and assistant coach appointments as conveyed to you by the General Manager or Director of NBL1.Understand and work inside the directions of the General Manager.Regularly monitor the NBL1 program for improvement and report to the General Manager on outcomes.Conduct post-season player reviews in conjunction with General ManagerAdhere to all EPDBA, BWA and NBL1 policies.Elicit and nurture a positive relationship between all members of the NBL1 squad/support staff and the wider reach of the EPDBAEssential Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum Level 2 (Association) coaching qualification or willingness to achieve this.Current Working with Children's Check (WWC)Senior Head Coaching experience.Desirable Qualifications & ExperienceDemonstrated leadership experience and ability to develop a professional and dedicated team of peoplePrevious coaching experience at an elite level.Experience and understanding of working within an engaged community to develop outstanding relationships and club profileDemonstrated experience in driving positive culture.Level 3 Coaching AccreditationCoaching experience at the State and or National levelElite level coaching experience (NBL, WNBL, College etc.)Unlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
