About the Role
We areseeking a qualified pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy service inAshburton. This is a non-rotational role in a rural hospital setting, offeringvariety, responsibility and the opportunity to develop a broad scope ofpractice.
Based at asingle site, you will be involved across many aspects of hospital pharmacyrather than a narrow specialist area. The role suits a pharmacist who enjoysbeing hands-on, adaptable and clinically engaged within a small service.
You willwork closely with a local team on site and will also be part of the widerCanterbury pharmacy service, alongside pharmacists, technicians, assistants andadministrative staff. The team works collaboratively with clinical services todeliver safe, patient-centred medicines care.
We activelysupport pharmacist development at all stages of practice. Ongoing education,training opportunities and peer support are built into the role. Hospitalexperience is welcomed but not essential, and pharmacists transitioning fromother settings will be well supported.

Key tasks include
* Provision ofa full clinical pharmacy service including medication reconciliation, therapeuticdrug monitoring and answering medicines information enquiries.
* Involvementin interdisciplinary education
* Supervision,training and support of technicians, interns and students
* Medicationsupply including dispensing, sterile and cytotoxic ordering
About You
You will be a qualified Pharmacist who is NZ registeredor with the ability to obtain a New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate, you will also demonstrate the following:
* Hospitalexperience preferred but not essential
* Adaptable tochanging team environments
* Demonstrates a positive learning mindset
