Key Responsibilities
Do you enjoy working in a busy school office environment? Areyou passionate about education data and compliance? We are seekinga detail-oriented Student Services (Curriculum) Officer to supportour School's curriculum and reporting requirements. This roleplays a critical part in ensuring compliance with externalauthorities and maintaining the integrity of academic data througheffective systems management.
The Student Services (Curriculum) Officer, along with ourStudent Services (Attendance) and Student Services (Reliefs)Officers, will ensure the delivery of comprehensive support to ourstudents, staff, parents and wider community.
Duties:
* Manage all curriculum reporting requirements in line withthe School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA)regulations.
* Complete and submit accurate and timely uploads to theStudent Information Records System (SIRS), SRMS Portal andother relevant platforms.
* Oversee administrative processes related to NAPLAN andOLNA, including student registrations, testing logistics, anddata reporting.
* Co-ordinate the preparation, proof reading and distributionof Semester Reports, Year 12 Statement of Results andCertificate of Senior Studies.
* Provide administrative support and system maintenance forSynergetic and SEQTA.
* Manage the PTO (Parent-Teacher meetings) booking process,room set-up and catering.
* Prepare and distribute Web Preferences logins for StudentSubject selections.
* Prepare and send high quality communications, to staff,parents and students, on behalf of the Head of Secondary andDirector of Studies.
* Support administrative and organisational needs of Schoolevents, particularly Examination timetables, Externally SetTasks and Speech Night awards and certificates.
* Manage student confidential files.
* Provide assistance to the Attendance and Reliefs Officersas needed.
* Display high customer service skills when greeting visitorsor answering phone calls.
* Provide administrative support to students, staff andfamilies.
* Display high-level word processing and excel skills,including excel formulas and mail merge.
* Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Essential qualities:
* Previous experience in a school administration or studentservices role, with a focus on data management and curriculumreporting.
* Strong understanding of SCSA and SIRS requirements, as wellas NAPLAN and OLNA processes.
* Proficiency in using SEQTA and Synergetic or other schoolinformation systems.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, andthe ability to manage competing deadlines.
* High level of interpersonal and communication skills, witha strong commitment to confidentiality andprofessionalism.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team andindependently when required.
Desirable qualities:
