Job Title: Tenement Administration Officer
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tenement Administration Officer.
The role involves delivering high-quality administrative support and client services, providing accurate information, responding effectively to complex enquiries, and processing applications promptly within designated timeframes.
* Deliver comprehensive administrative and clerical support to MRT.
* Serve as the initial point of contact for MRT clients, providing relevant information and directing complex inquiries to the appropriate officer or manager.
* Manage email inquiries and incoming physical mail for MRT, ensuring proper document control, record keeping, and timely responses and follow-up.
* Maintain document and records management systems in accordance with MRT guidelines.
* Support data entry and maintenance of information databases, including the Mining Register.
* Provide tenement administration services to clients and industry.
* Process payments for MRT services and products, supporting the Finance Officer and Team Manager as needed.
* Facilitate quarterly distribution of production and expenditure returns, ensuring accurate recording in relevant systems.
