Short description
To be an effective team member in Council’s infrastructure section when undertaking the maintenance activities in an efficient, productive and safe manner. The incumbent is required to operate plant and machinery whilst undertaking works on Council’s CWMS, Stormwater reuse and Water Infrastructure.
Hours 76 hour fortnight – 9 day fortnight (some out of hours work may required).

Applicant requirements
The successful applicant must have experience in undertaking maintenance work.
Salary
Grade 6+5% – $78,880.61 p.a. plus statutory superannuation. (In accordance with the Yorke Peninsula Council Local Government Employees Enterprise Agreement No 8, 2024).
Probation period
13 weeks
Medical
A compulsory pre-employment medical examination must be undertaken.
Location
Yorketown Depot, however appointment is to the Council, therefore the successful applicant may be required to undertake duties at other locations.
