Summary:
This role requires a strong HR professional with a background in labor law, payroll management and employee relations to support the delivery of business strategy.
The ideal candidate will provide employees and leadership teams with professional support in workforce planning, country HR support, employee communication and employee relations.
This role is responsible for operational management of Human Resources, reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and part of the global HR team.
The role covers Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities include:
* Identifying HR service needs based on workforce planning, business needs and employee needs
* Supporting business departments to implement HR initiatives
* Managing employee relationship issues
* Ensuring all policies and procedures are compliant with company HR policies, labour laws and local regulations
* Collaborating with regional HR function teams to execute HR relevant local or international projects
* Managing local payroll
* Preparing and coordinating interactions with local works counsel
* Managing external legal HR counselling based on individual needs
Requirements:
* University degree in HR Management or Labour Law preferred
* Industry background a plus
* Good knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
* Four-plus years of HR manager or HRBP experience in an international environment
* Process- and detail-oriented professional leader with strong business and analytical skills
* Strong willingness to contribute, with listening and analytical skills to advise and influence at all levels of organization
* Familiar with latest labour laws and relevant government regulations
* Good knowledge of Excel
* Knowledge of NAV a plus
* Well organized, hands-on as well as strategic thinking
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Able to manage multiple complex issues
* Coaching & people competence development, negotiation skills and self-confident
* Fluency in English key
