Job Description
We are seeking a Processing Operations Manager to lead our processing facility and drive a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency.
This is a permanent and full-time supervisory role based at our prawn processing facility in Proserpine. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring the end-to-end management of product flow through the facility.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in delivering key operational outcomes, with strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team to meet daily production targets and KPIs.
* Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with all OH&S policies.
* Oversee the end-to-end management of product flow through the facility.
* Manage quality assurance by monitoring product labelling, box conditions, and temperatures.
* Ensure accurate maintenance of controlled documents, including hygiene sheets and QA sheets.
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a management or supervisory position within a processing environment.
* Previous experience in seafood processing is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in delivering key operational outcomes.
* Critical competencies in Leadership, Zero Harm, Quality/Results Orientation, Judgement, and Problem Solving.
* Computer literate with solid written and verbal communication skills.
