Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality discipline-specific deliverables that meet our client's and statutory requirements. You will also oversee project drafting deliverables ensuring quality, schedule, and integrity requirements are met. Your Key Responsibilities
* Manage and provide support to the project team to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, standards, and procedures.
* Communicate effectively with the project team, clients, and other project stakeholders.
* Produce discipline specific deliverables that meet Primero Groups' and the client's and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee project drafting deliverables ensuring quality, schedule, and integrity requirements are met.
* Ensure effective communication to the entire E&I team regarding changes and updates to workflows and guidelines.
* Review and provide feedback on vendor drawings and interdisciplinary design data.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
12+ years experience as an Electrical Designer.
Experience leading a team and managing resource allocation is highly desirable. A keen eye for detail and systematic approach to producing deliverables is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required. You will need to be able to work efficiently and effectively within a multi-discipline team environment. You must have knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles, and practices. Understanding of statutory and industry regulations and HSE practices is necessary.
