WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As our Activations Director, you will take ownership of senior client relationships and lead the end-to-end delivery of integrated offline and cross-channel media campaigns. You will be responsible for shaping media strategy, overseeing planning and negotiation across TV, OOH, radio and print, and ensuring flawless execution in partnership with trading and investment teams. You will act as a trusted senior advisor to clients, confidently presenting media strategies, post-activity reviews and investment recommendations, while guiding long‐term planning and growth opportunities. Working closely with strategy, digital and data teams, you will ensure media solutions are insight‐led, commercially sound and aligned to broader business objectives. Internally, you will provide leadership and mentorship to planning teams, support senior trading discussions, and help strengthen media owner partnerships. This role suits a commercially minded media leader who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands‐on involvement and thrives in a fast‐paced, collaborative agency environment.
* 8+ years of media agency experience with a strong background in media planning and leadership
* Proven experience leading senior client relationships and delivering integrated media strategies
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence investment decisions and outcomes
* Expertise managing pre, mid and post‐campaign performance, optimisation and reporting
* Excellent communication and presentation skills across client and internal stakeholders
* Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop high‐performing planning teams
* A strategic, solutions‐focused mindset with a passion for future‐focused media thinking
* Strong working knowledge of eTam and eRam to analyse TV and Radio ratings and support accurate AV planning
* Experience using MOVE to assess and plan Out‐of‐Home media based on audience reach and location data
* Confidence using SMD for media bookings, budget management and post‐campaign reconciliation
