The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated Quality and Clinical Education Coordinator (QCEC) who will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating evidence-based, best practice clinical and non-clinical education and training programs. This role supports the organisation’s compliance obligations and builds the capability of Southern Cross Care Tasmania (SCCT) employees across our northern Residential and Home Care facilities. The QCEC will ensure employees have the knowledge and skills to practically apply policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and Infection Prevention and Control compliance. About You As a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration, you are an enthusiastic professional with a strong clinical background and a desire to indirectly improve the lives of clients and residents through education. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively within the Quality and Education team Develop and deliver education to staff across SCC aged care facilities Mentor new graduates and staff new to aged care through postgraduate studies Administer clinical and aged care training and competency assessments in line with Strengthened Aged Care Standards Contribute to education-focused projects that support best practice quality clinical care Undertake quality and compliance activities, including evaluating training outcomes Any other task or duty as reasonably and lawfully directed by Southern Cross Care Professional Development Opportunities Support to complete a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment Supported studies in specialist practice areas such as wound care, dementia, and palliative/end-of-life care What’s on Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
