Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Sydney Office
Account Executive (Insurance Broker)

As an Account Executive you will maintain a financial lines client portfolio by focusing on developing strong client relationships and providing a superior client service, including regular client contact, risk and insurance program administration, technical advice, and business development, including collaboration with other areas in MMC / Marsh. You will ensure that accurate, efficient, and timely production of all clients, Insurer and policy related documentation and assist Senior Account Executive /Principals /Managing Principals as required. You will be working with Principals and NSW State Leader – FINPRO on more complex and involved accounts.

We will count on you to:
7. Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and pro-actively responding to these needs
8. Implement renewal and broking strategies based on client’s needs as required
9. Liaise with the Claims team to ensure that clients’ interests are protected, and claims are settled in a timely matter
10. Develop and maintain sound working relationships with insurers and assist with negotiations
11. Maintain outstanding renewals, credit control and other necessary reporting over client portfolio
12. Recognize new business opportunities (new or expanded) and act as appropriate on them in a timely manner
13. Introduce new products or broader policies as appropriate
14. Adhere strictly to the Company's policies, Quality practices and other systems and procedures.
15. Comply fully with the Company's Errors and Omissions avoidance policy.
16. Liaise with Marsh Client Operations (MCO) to ensure timely and accurate document production, reporting and processing of (including but not limited to):invoices and related policy accounting documentation.quotation and placing slipsinformation and documentation for Pre-Renewal and Broking meetings.client letters, draft renewal reports and insurance manuals, as requestedcertificates of currency.maintain up to date client records and files including the broking systems.collect information and follow up documentationassist with claim lodgment and follow upall other documentation.
What you need to have:
17. Must have a minimum 3 years’ financial lines insurance experience
18. Clear and effective communication skills
19. Ability to work autonomously within a multi skilled team.
20. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload, meet deadlines and good time management skills.
21. Excellent client service ability – to be able to anticipate client needs and exceed them
22. Motivated self-starter focused on achieving results
23. Excellent attention to detail
24. Ability to recognize and solve problems and think outside the square
25. Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
26. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite and demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
27. Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higher
