Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Container Reach Stacker Operator to join our dynamic team. The Reach Stacker Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, stacking and moving 45-tonne containers within our container yard. The ideal candidate will ensure timely handling of containers and contribute to smooth yard operations.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload containers using a container reach stacker in a timely and safe manner.
Operate the reach stacker in accordance with operator guidelines, ensuring correct safety methods are used while in operation.
Ensure containers are stacked in accordance, to facilitate operations and scheduled allocations.
Safely load and unload trucks using a container reach stacker.
Operate day-to-day a 45-tonne capacity mobile crane system (boom or jib) with a licensed CN or RS licence.
Qualifications
Valid RS or CN licence.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
Skilled at problem-solving and decision-making using relevant information and available options.
Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new information and evolving processes.
Well-developed organisational and time-management skills to handle competing priorities.
Solid knowledge and experience in warehouse operations and logistics.
