Overview
* Company: Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd
* Location: Archerfield, Brisbane (head office)
* Primary point of contact between DXC Technology, EFT Sure, Caterpillar and internal business units.
* Permanent, Monday to Friday role.
Responsibilities
* Undertake large statement reconciliations.
* Facilitate the resolution of complex invoices with internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain all Caterpillar vendor accounts, ensuring documents are processed and settled in a timely manner.
* Download monthly statements and prepare payment schedules.
* Access and obtain documents through various portals as required.
* Serve as the central point of contact between the offshore partner DXC, EFT Sure, Concur, the business and Caterpillar.
* Monitor accounts payable systems, produce status reports to track trends and issues, and work with the business and/or DXC to resolve.
* Ensure all communication and messaging to external stakeholders (suppliers, customers) aligns with Company values and operational priorities.
* Provide support to the business in resolving issues related to purchase orders, supplier payments, personal expense and credit card claims.
* Assist the business with the development, implementation and continuous improvement of new processes, procedures and workflows.
Qualifications
* Relevant experience in an Accounts Payable role.
* Strong communication skills.
* Experience working with ERP systems.
* Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
* Proven stakeholder engagement skills with a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism and confidence.
