About the RoleAs a Groundsperson, your day-to-day tasks will include:General grounds maintenance: mowing, whipper snipping, mulching, weeding, litter collection, and tree careApplication of herbicides and insecticidesMinor repairs: fencing, roads, signage, pavements, irrigation systemsSupport for events, storm clean-ups, and emergency responseAssisting with terminal maintenance and furniture movesParticipation in the airport runway and apron repainting programWorking alongside external contractors when requiredCompliance with all safety, security, and airport regulationsWhat You'll BringExperience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or horticultureAbility to work effectively both independently and in a teamSkilled in operating and maintaining grounds equipmentPhysically fit and comfortable working in all weather conditionsKnowledge of WHS practicesValid driver's licenceWillingness and ability to obtain:Chemical AccreditationAirside Driver's LicenceFirst Aid CertificateAviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and AFP clearanceCertificate in Horticulture, Landscaping, or related fieldExperience in secure or airport environmentsMR licenceWhite CardIrrigation system maintenance experiencePest, weed, and vegetation management knowledgeFamiliarity with small engines and machineryWhy ADG?
