**FinOps Lead**
**The Opportunity**:
As the FinOps Lead for high-profile digital transformation projects, you will bring your extensive knowledge of FinOps to design and deliver solutions that streamline and create efficient costings of our client's technology. You will also have the opportunity to help evolve EY's thought leadership in FinOps frameworks, methodologies and technologies, to help scale these for our clients. You can be located anywhere in Australia for this role.
**Your key responsibilities**:
- Assess and comprehend data expenditure across varying business units
- Identify opportunities to optimise spend and allocation of costs across different business units
- Create a cost framework to allocate these costs accordingly
- Translate business requirements into contemporary solutions to support defined analytical and data processing needs
- Oversee a team of FinOps Analysts tasked with reporting, metadata and tagging
- Present solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
**To qualify for the role you must have**:
- Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Ability to understand complex solution design and technical architecture
- Highly developed communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability will allow you to identify gaps and provide effective solutions
- Ideally you will have experience in Cloud (AWS/Azure) and bonus points if you have Agile/Scrum/Scaled Agile experience.
