About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a key role in providing clinical expertise and consultancy within business hours at The Prince Charles Hospital.
Your main objective is to deliver safe, quality healthcare through advanced clinical leadership relevant to Child and Youth Mental Health. You will work in collaboration with health care teams to provide direct and indirect care as required.
The ideal candidate will possess strong coaching and mentoring skills to support others in delivering high-quality care for children, young people, and families. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with colleagues and patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive nursing care that meets the needs of patients and their families
* Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Postgraduate qualifications in nursing or a related field
* Extensive experience in child and youth mental health
* Strong leadership and management skills
