About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Technician to join our team. This role involves working on key projects within our Trenchless Technologies business, performing tasks such as excavating and backfilling trenches, operating hand tools and compactors, and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all works are completed to required HSE and quality standards
* Excavate and backfill trenches, manholes, and pits for underground pipe and conduit installation
* Safely operate hand tools and compactors
* Collaborate with team members and assist with additional laboring duties
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
* A current Driver's License and Construction White Card
* Knowledge of NBN networks
* Previous experience in cable winch operations and basic rod & roping (desirable)
* An understanding of existing network architecture (pits, cables, ducts etc) (desirable)
* The ability to read and interpret plans
