About the role
As a Project Manager at Century Group, you will play a crucial role in delivering complex engineering projects on time, within budget and to the highest standards. Based in our Edinburgh office, this full-time position will see you overseeing all aspects of project management, from planning and resource allocation to stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation.
What you'll be doing
* Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring clear objectives, milestones and deliverables are defined.
* Manage project budgets and timelines, identifying and resolving any issues or delays proactively.
* Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
* Communicate project status and performance to key stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
* Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing appropriate contingency measures.
* Continuously look for ways to improve processes and enhance project delivery.
What we're looking for
* Proven track record in project management, ideally within the engineering industry.
* Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience required.
* Knowledge of fabrication.
* Metal fabrication knowledge is essential for this role.
* Excellent planning, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver high‑quality results.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or a related field.
