About The Role

Reporting to the Northern Region Operations Manager, the Site Manager plays a pivotal role in driving performance through strong leadership on site. This role is responsible for deliverables related to Growing, IPM, Harvesting, Crop Care, Production, and Maintenance through their team, enabling the best possible operational outcomes aligned with business strategy.

We have two roles available at Mansfield or Katunga, Victoria.

As this is a business-critical leadership role, it is expected that the Site Manager is available on call 24/7 to manage site requirements as necessary.

What You Will Be Doing

Through active leadership, the Site Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the growing strategy that ensures maximum production levels and high-quality crops. This position oversees all aspects of daily operations on site, including but not limited to Leadership, Safety, Budget Management, Growing Strategy, Crop Production & Quality, Asset Maintenance, Team Management (end-to-end employee lifecycle), and site administration.

Leadership & Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and develop a team, fostering collaboration and a high-performance environment.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with and contribute to the Northern Region's overall business goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Site Operations:

* Lead and manage all aspects of daily business operations on site.

People Operations:

Partner with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) team and People Leaders to ensure workplace safety and employee wellbeing are prioritized across the site.

Data & Reporting: Lead all site planning and budgeting processes to align with business objectives.

What You Will Bring

* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field.
* 5+ years of relevant operational experience (industry experience highly regarded).
* Strong knowledge of Fair Work Legislation and employment relations experience preferred.
* Ability to coach and guide stakeholders on Modern Awards and Australian legislation.
* Experience in fast-paced, similar business environments valued.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Strong leadership qualities (judgment, drive, influencing skills).
* Skilled in managing change initiatives.
* Analytical, collaborative, and data-driven decision-making skills.
* Energetic and highly motivated.
