MM Electrical Mount Barker is seeking a driven and technically capable Internal Sales Representative to join their high-performing team.
In this dynamic, customer-facing role, you’ll be responsible for growing sales across the Adelaide Hills & Surrounds region (but not restricted to) through proactive relationship management, technical expertise, and a genuine passion for renewable energy. You’ll work closely with the Branch Manager, internal sales, and technical teams to identify opportunities, deliver solutions, and help customers achieve success in the rapidly evolving solar market.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Proactively identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the solar and renewable energy sector.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with electrical contractors, solar installers, and key industry partners.
* Promote MM's full solar product range and provide technical product support, backed by up-to-date product and industry knowledge.
* Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to prepare tailored proposals, quotes, and product solutions.
* Conduct market research to identify growth areas, competitor activity, and emerging technologies, informing sales strategy.
What you’ll need to succeed:
* Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience in solar or renewable energy sales.
* Communication & Influence: Confident, persuasive communicator with strong rapport-building and negotiation skills.
* Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of solar products, systems, and their applications.
* Growth oriented: Highly motivated, target-driven, and competitive with a strong “hunter” mentality.
* Working Rights: You have full Australian working rights with no restrictions – Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident as sponsorship is not offered for this position.
