Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CSSD Technician to join our dynamic perioperative team on a full time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our Sterile Service Department.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of AS/NZ 4187:2014 and experience with thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of instrumentation. They will also possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Our hospital is located in the Western Sydney City of Penrith, serving a diverse community with a range of health services including orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery.
We are currently undergoing a $38M redevelopment, which will see our Hospital grow to meet the needs of our growing community with new operating theatres, a purpose-built pre-admission area, and refurbished main entry.
About You:
* You have 3 years' experience as a CSSD technician, preferably with knowledge of AS/NZ 4187:2014
* You have demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation and experience with tracking systems
* You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with intermediate computer literacy skills and a focus on professional development
