Job Description
The role of a Maintenance Coordinator is to deliver quality and timely facilities maintenance services to our assets and stakeholders. This ensures that our facilities are fit for purpose, value for money, and meet contracted organisational, public sector, and legislative requirements.
This involves delivering facilities maintenance services to ensure they meet the required standards and regulations. The coordinator will be responsible for managing contracts, reviewing quotes, and overseeing contract requirements to ensure service delivery outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facilities maintenance contract management, including managing large portfolios, understanding statutory maintenance requirements, legislation, and prioritising reactive, planned preventative, and major periodic maintenance.
The Maintenance Coordinator will also be responsible for stakeholder engagement, site visits, audits, reviewing and approving quotes, oversight of contract requirements, insurance claims, financial review of costs, analysing data and performance within portals, and attending operational meetings.
The team works collaboratively across portfolios and regions, striving for the best outcomes for their sites and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to multiple stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as MS Teams.
* Extensive experience in facilities maintenance contract management, including managing large portfolios.
* Understanding of statutory maintenance requirements, legislation, and prioritisation of reactive, planned preventative, and major periodic maintenance.
