About The Role
This position involves recommending and determining statutory services related to civil engineering and urban planning approvals within designated areas.
1. Functional design assessment and management responsibility for growth area development and subdivision applications, including assessing and determining permits referrals, engineering design reviews for wetlands, retarding basins, waterways, and pipelines, complex stormwater management strategy review, development planning, and subdivision applications, certifications, and statements of compliance.
2. Risk management and continuous professional development.
3. Active strategy and scheme assessment and management.
About You
* A relevant tertiary qualification in civil/environmental engineering is required.
* Familiarity with hydraulic/hydrological and stormwater quality modeling is essential.
* Prior experience in decision-making in complex civil engineering and urban planning-related areas of work is necessary.
* Knowledge of Victorian statutory planning processes is crucial.
* Experience in financial management of development services schemes, development contribution schemes, or other infrastructure contribution plans is desirable.
