Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
JC Electronic Security Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated Northern Territory business, established in 2000. The company specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of electronic security systems across residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Security Technicians to join our team based in Yarrawonga, NT.
About the role
This is a full-time position involving installation, maintenance and servicing of electronic security systems across the Northern Territory, including travel to rural and remote locations such as Katherine and Alice Springs.
Key duties include:
* Installation, configuration and commissioning of electronic security systems including CCTV, alarm systems, access control and intercom systems
* Fault finding, diagnostics and repair of electronic security equipment
* Conducting routine maintenance and system upgrades
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans and specifications
* Ensuring all work complies with relevant Australian Standards and safety requirements
* Liaising with clients on-site and providing technical support and advice
Skills and experience required:
* Relevant qualification at Certificate III level or higher in Electronics, Electrical or a related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualification
* At least 1 year of relevant full-time work experience as an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker or Security Technician
* Demonstrated experience with installation and servicing of CCTV, alarm and access control systems
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to travel to rural and remote locations across the Northern Territory
