The Role


The Marketing Coordinator plays an important role in planning, coordinating, and delivering direct marketing campaigns and communications to acquire, grow and retain individual givers.

Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, the Marketing Coordinator supports campaign execution and broader organisation fundraising initiatives, ensuring alignment of messaging, creative, timelines, approvals and budgets.


Key Focus Areas and Responsibilities


Campaign Coordination and Execution

* Assist with coordinating, delivering, and reviewing multi-channel fundraising campaigns and appeals across direct marketing platforms including print, email, social media, and SMS.
* Ensure campaign activities are completed on time, meet the brief, and align with overall fundraising goals.

Stakeholder Coordination and Collaboration

* Act as a key point of liaison between internal Foundation departments, external agencies, and suppliers.
* Facilitate smooth communication, collaboration, workflow, and approvals to support the successful delivery of fundraising campaigns and programs.
* Identify opportunities to iterate and optimise internal processes, ensuring streamlined and clear workflow procedures that support a growing and scaling fundraising program.

Content Development, Review, and Compliance

* Act as the first line of review in the development, proofreading, and review of campaign materials, creative briefs, and donor communications.
* Collaborate with the Communications, Marketing and Engagement Team to ensure all content maintains brand consistency, accuracy, and compliance with brand guidelines, writing guidelines, and organisational standards.

Digital Support and Continuous Improvement

* Support the effective use of digital fundraising platforms, including content deployment and audience segmentation. Assist with reporting and basic analysis to provide insights that inform campaign improvements.
* Contribute ideas and recommendations to enhance the supporter experience and optimise fundraising processes across the Foundation.


About You


You're an all-rounder who combines strong time management and coordination skills with working collaboratively between internal and external stakeholders.

* Are hands-on, proactive, and comfortable moving between different appeals, campaigns, and reporting.
* Balance competing priorities within the appeals program – able to work to tight deadlines and coordinate internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively within the fundraising and communications, marketing and engagement teams to keep appeals and campaigns running smoothly.

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and attributes:

* Minimum 3 years marketing, fundraising or campaign coordination experience.
* Fundraising and Marketing Expertise: Demonstrated experience in implementing, executing, and evaluating multi-channel direct marketing campaigns.
* Project Management: Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the proven ability to manage multiple deadline driven projects.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Demonstrated experience in briefing and coordinating external agencies and suppliers to deliver campaign outcomes.
* Quality Control: Excellent proofreading and attention to detail skills and experience in applying brand guidelines.
* Digital and Production Acumen: Strong working knowledge of the latest, digital trends.
* CRM Usage: Experience utilising a CRM database (e.g., Raiser's Edge NXT) for fundraising activities is highly desirable.
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative, flexible approach to working within a team and across departments with competing priorities.
* Autonomy: Experience working independently managing responsibilities and delivering outcomes with minimal supervision.
* Platform Specific: Direct experience with Raiser's Edge NXT, Ortto, and Funraisin is highly desirable.
* Relevant qualifications or experience in any of the following areas is desirable: fundraising, marketing, or communications.

Other Requirements

* QLD driver's license.
