The role
Terkos Haulage is seeking 2 x Experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team in Bunbury, WA. As a MC driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods to and from our distribution centre. This is a pivotal role in supporting our logistics operations and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key responsibilities
* Safely operate various heavy vehicle configurations including semi-trailers and road trains
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
* Load and unload freight in a timely and professional manner
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
* Provide excellent customer service to clients
* Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and Terkos Haulage policies
* Carting of grain, lime, Fertiliser, some up north work
What we're looking for
* Current MC driver's licence
* Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles in a commercial road transport environment
* Strong knowledge of road rules, vehicle maintenance and load restraint procedures
* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Immediate start for the right candidate
* Road ranger experience
* Willing to work away
* Overnight allowance
* Hourly rate depending on experience
