Job Description
A Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) is required to drive the development and implementation of HR strategy in support of AWS AGS organization. The successful candidate will partner with business leaders and their teams to develop organizational and PXT strategies that foster growth, drive results, and increase organizational effectiveness.
You will be responsible for understanding business priorities and translating them into a people agenda that supports the business. This includes implementing annual HR programs such as performance reviews, promotions, compensation planning, and succession planning.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to diagnose issues, use data and insights to develop appropriate solutions, and influence outcomes. Strong communication, influencing, problem-solving skills, and long-term thinking are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and drive organization and people strategies, solutions, and plans.
* Partner with business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management.
* Sets PXT strategy and goals, integrating CoE and AWS/Amazon organization-wide priorities.
* Lead annual and mid-year review processes focusing on talent development and performance management.
* Provide management coaching and leader/manager onboarding and assimilation.
* Review and analyze business and people metrics to recommend systemic improvements.
* Provide compensation counsel and support including salary planning and review.
* Address employee relations issues fairly representing all interests.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree or certification in Human Resources Management or related field.
* 10-15 years of experience in a HRBP role.
* Broad knowledge and experience in human resource management.
* Ability to work independently.
* Able to travel, as appropriate.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience partnering with multiple business leaders in a complex and fast-paced business setting.
* Strong business partnering skills and HR acumen, including problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, coaching skills, project management abilities.
* Knowledge of employment law in India and other APJ countries will be beneficial.
* Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization and across countries to achieve results.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Change management capabilities.
