Central Works Supervisor
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Central Works Supervisor to join our team at Murrin Murrin in Western Australia's northern Goldfields. The successful candidate will manage and direct the welding and fabrication teams to maximize plant availability, efficiency, and equipment utilization.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising maintenance coded welders, boilermakers, pipefitters, and subcontractors. They will achieve maintenance targets and ensure safety standards, allocate work priorities and manpower daily, measure team performance, and provide leadership. Additionally, they will ensure the availability of equipment spares in liaison with planners, maintain and update procedures, and perform other related duties as required.
Responsibilities
* Supervise maintenance coded welders, boilermakers, pipefitters, and subcontractors
* Achieve maintenance targets and ensure safety standards
* Allocate work priorities and manpower daily
* Measure team performance and provide leadership
* Ensure availability of equipment spares in liaison with planners
* Maintain and update procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Trade qualifications in welding or metal fabrication
* Leadership experience in a customer-focused environment
* Experience managing costs and implementing continuous improvement
* Computer skills with management systems, word processing, and spreadsheets
* A current Western Australian C-Class manual driver's license
