As part of our KEE Hire division, which delivers premier machinery hire solutions and a high-quality fleet supporting construction, mining, and industrial projects, we are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Port Hedland workshop. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front, supervising skilled trades, coordinating workloads, upholding safety standards, and driving high-quality outcomes for both our clients and the business.
Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise day-to-day workshop operations and staff (Heavy Diesel Mechanics and a fleet of modern, well-maintained machinery, including excavators, loaders, dozers, and more)
* Schedule and coordinate work to meet deadlines and quality standards
* Lead, mentor, and support mechanics and workshop personnel
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and contractors
* Approve work orders, service documentation, and parts requisitions
* Ensure WHS/OHS compliance and promote a strong safety culture
* Manage backlog repairs and support continuous improvement
* Ensure tooling, workshop, and yard are maintained to company standards
Required Skills and Experience
* Experience in a Management role within the construction sector (or similar)
* Extensive experience working on mobile plant
* Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Trade Certificate (or similar) (essential)
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage parts, materials and maintenance records
* Strong leadership skills
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent remuneration package (with a company vehicle) & fortnightly pay
