OverviewAs a Community Nurse you will provide contemporary care to consumers in their homes as well as in the medical clinic.
The Community Nurse is responsible for treating our consumers with dignity and respect, supporting them to live their best lives and providing comprehensive, accountable and high-quality nursing care.QualificationsA relevant qualification as an Endorsed Enrolled or Registered Nurse (RN preferred) and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated experience providing nursing care to individuals within a range of clinical settings.Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and be flexible to meet the reasonable demands of the position.Professional and effective behaviour, and strong interpersonal and communication skills including computer literacy.An ability to work autonomously and in a team environment for best client outcomes.A Commitment to the YDHS Values of Care, Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Professionalism and safety.Applicants shall be required to provide and maintain: an original National Police Record Check completed within the last twelve (12) months prior to commencement; an employee Working with Children Check; a NDIS Worker Screening Check; relevant professional registrations; a Pre-existing injury declaration form; and undergo any other relevant checks, education or licencing as directed at own cost.About YDHSYarram and District Health Service (YDHS) is located 220 kilometres south east of Melbourne on the South Gippsland Highway in rural Victoria.
