Amazon is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join the team at our quick paced Fulfilment Center (FC) for Night Shift.
The shift pattern is based on business need, and rotates every 6 months from Wednesday to Saturday | Sunday to Wednesday (10 hour shifts, 4 days per week).
Key job responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site
Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out
React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fix the issue
Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager
Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers
Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians
Basic Qualifications
Formal Trade Qualification: Served a full Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering qualified to a minimum of Certificate III
Cert III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner). Alternatively, equivalent trade qualification formally recognised in Australia
Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems
Experience fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems
Ability to read and understand electrical /mechanical drawings
Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters
Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations
