With a creative flair and terrific work culture, this Luxury/Premium Homewares organisation with iconic brands predominantly markets and sells to major department stores (e.g., Myer, Harris Scarfe etc.) as well as Independent Homeware Retailers Australia wide is continuing to grow and enhance its premium product categories nationally. As a result of these exciting times, they are presently seeking to employ a Product/Sourcing Coordinator that has the capability of working with and relating to all levels of key stakeholders both internally and externally. This includes the Senior Executive Group, Product/Buying, Marketing/Communications, Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse and Logistics teams as well as global external manufacturers, predominantly China with some in Europe.

Reporting directly to the Head of Buying and Product Development, you will be responsible for assisting in the quality and maintenance of all inventory and product ranging/sourcing. This will include commercial aspects such as costings together with the administrative elements of the product and sourcing flow to ensure it meets highest standards of quality by performing necessary measures prior, during and post product development process. As part of this you will also be responsible to ensure seasonal product ranges meet shipment timeframes per sales calendar. You will also be involved in the management of samples required for design, development, and marketing and ensure samples are on hand and for all showrooms.

Ideally you will be tertiary qualified and MUST have similar experience in a Product/Sourcing role preferably Wholesale, but Retail experience maybe considered. Your passion, interest and enthusiasm towards product development and working closely with key internal and external stakeholders will be critical. You will possess superior MS Excel (preferably advanced), communication and problem-solving capabilities, together with strong administrative and data analysis skills. You will have come from and been exposed to high level customer service, have a high level of initiative and drive and be able to work in an environment that changes frequently. Your ability to work under pressure, manage competing interests as well as meeting deadlines in a timely manner will ensure you are a strong contender for this exceptional opportunity.
