About the Role
This is a permanent part-time position, up to 37.5 hours per week, working in our nursery with babies from 6 weeks to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, preparing, and implementing the educational program, including documentation
- Provide a safe, secure, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children
- Actively and effectively supervise children
- Apply and implement the Early Years Learning Framework, and the National Quality Standards
- Maintain a clean, secure, and well‑organised learning environment
- Foster strong, respectful partnerships with families, colleagues, and the wider community
Essential Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum Certificate III in Children's Services (Early Childhood Education and Care) or actively working towards a qualification
- Current First Aid certificate or ability to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) issued by Blue Card Services, Department of Justice and Attorney‑General
