About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the marketing team at Godfrey Hirst Australia as a Marketing Assistant. In this full-time role based in South Geelong, VIC, you will play a key part in supporting the implementation of the company's marketing strategy and initiatives.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting with the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities across various platforms
* Coordinating the production and distribution of marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and social media content
* Providing administrative support to the marketing team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records
* Conducting market research and data analysis to support the team's decision-making
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging and effective communication
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing efforts
What we're looking for
* Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field
* 1-2 years of experience in a similar marketing assistant or coordinator role
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and experience with CMS and/or marketing automation platforms
* Passion for marketing and a keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments
