About The Role
This is a full-time, hybrid (largely remote) role based preferably on the East Coast of Australia. As Application Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for new and existing clients, responsible for the successful implementation of the company's energy software solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing project delivery for software implementations across new and existing client accounts
* Providing technical support and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle
* Collaborating with clients to understand their integration requirements and delivering tailored solutions
* Acting as a bridge between client‐facing needs and the technical development team
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of implementation processes and methodologies
* Identifying opportunities for expanded software development and integration solutions for existing clients
About You
To be considered for this role, you will bring:
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Demonstrated proficiency in software development and programming languages
* Hands‐on experience with software implementation and systems integration
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with the ability to work through complex technical challenges
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation
* The ability to work cross‐functionally, collaborating effectively with both technical and non‐technical stakeholders
* An understanding of the energy supply industry is advantageous but not essential
* Knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) or Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts will be well regarded
* The ability to commence in the role as soon as possible
