Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee all aspects of residential construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards and within set timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinating and supervising construction teams on-site, delegating tasks and monitoring progress.
* Ensuring all work adheres to relevant building codes, regulations and safety protocols.
* Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns.
* Developing and implementing project plans, schedules and budgets.
* Identifying and addressing any potential risks or problems that may arise during the construction process.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the duration of each project.
Requirements
* Experience (1+ years) as a supervisor or foreperson in the residential construction industry.
* Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects from start to finish.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications and blueprints.
* Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials and safety regulations.
* Tech-savvy: Proficient in using software to create detailed site lists and coordinate works.
* Organised & self-motivated: Strong attention to detail, punctuality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Certification or qualifications in construction management or a related field would be highly advantageous.
