Mooloolah River Fisheries is located at the end of Parkyn Parade in the Port of Mooloolaba with a beautiful beachfront view. MRF is a fully integrated operation with a Local Seafood Restaurant, Commercial Fishing Vessel Marina, Unloading Wharf, Commercial Diesel Supply, Cold Storage, Ice Making Plant, Retail Seafood Market, Local Hospitality Distribution, and National and International Wholesale and Seafood Processing Facilities. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant / Receptionist to join our team and assist with customer service and operational tasks.
Overview
Reporting directly to the Office Manager, we are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Admin person to join our friendly team on a Full-time basis to work in an energetic environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong organizational and communication skills. If you are proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting both internal and external stakeholders, we would love to hear from you
About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer incoming phone calls, manage messages, and respond to inquiries promptly
* Take orders and ensure accurate processing
* Follow up on staff cash sales, including payment processing via EFT
* Liaise with the Accounts Payable team on internal accounts reconciliation and updates
* File invoices and new account documents systematically
* Prepare monthly folders for invoicing and distribution
* Handle reception duties, including answering calls, managing messages, and assisting visitors
* Maintain the product List and ensure it is updated regularly
* Perform general administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and document management
* Other administrative duties as required
All About You
* Minimum 2 years of experience in admin/customer service/reception is essential
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Care about providing exceptional admin and customer service
* Sound understanding of MS Office and the aptitude to learn Pronto
* Communicate effectively and appropriately
* Take pride in your work and focus on excellent quality
* Willingness to learn
* Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
* Ability to monitor personal workload and manage own time
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
