The APS4 Property Officer supports a small team responsible for the department's property portfolio
**Your new company**
This Government department is in the Canberra City and offer a hybrid working arrangement with staff required to attend the office 2-3 days a week depending on requirements.
**Your new role**
On a day to day, you’ll be accountable for undertaking facilities management and administration tasks including;
- Provide support in facilities management requirements including support to the outsourced FM provider
- Maintain and distribute electronic mail
- Coordinate accommodation requests, office supplies, courier and freight
- Monitor the property inbox
- Process monthly invoices
**What you'll need to succeed**
You’ll have strong communication skills, the ability to follow instructions and procedures, property management or customer service experience and experience with Microsoft 365 office suite products is desirable.
Other desirable experience:
- Knowledge and experience with the Australian Government’s Property Management Framework and Commonwealth Procurement Rules
- Experience in Government Procurement and Contracting
- Knowledge of the Government’s Protective Security Policy Framework
