Heavy Diesel Mechanic Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy diesel equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
* Minimum of three years' post-trade experience in the heavy diesel industry.
* Prior experience in fixed plant operations is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of asset management practices and preventative maintenance schedules is essential. Proficiency in using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Pronto is also required.
Additionally, confidence with computer systems including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneNote is necessary for this role.
Experience in salt processing is a highly sought-after skill.
A strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is critical to success in this role.
Candidates must hold current competencies in Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights, with additional training in First Aid and Low Voltage Rescue considered advantageous.
