Key Responsibilities:
* Work as part of a highly skilled team to deliver rebuilt engines using multiple types of equipment.
* Cleaning, painting and polishing of engines and associated components.
* Providing support to technicians.
* Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and remove any hazards.
* Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation and report any issues/incidents to your supervisor.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience as a Trade Assistant is highly desirable – ideally with a mechanical aptitude.
* A current Forklift ticket is preferred.
* Ability to follow repetitive systems/procedures in a labour-intensive environment.
* Be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
* Provide high quality and efficient support to a team of mechanics, rebuilding a variety of engines.
* Be able to move between jobs, depending on workload and customer timeframes.
* Previous experience in a mechanical workshop is desirable.
* Tooling and uniform provided.
Benefits:
* High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
* This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
* Power and hand tool experience desirable.
* Experience: Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
