Our manufacturing facility and head office is located in Alberton, south of Loganholme, just off the M1 motorway.
The Role:
We have an opportunity for a Senior Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be willing to get involved in all aspects of the business and make it their own. While working full-time onsite they will be working alongside the General Manager and other various internal and external stakeholders.
Key Position Responsibilities:
* Responsible for all business financial processing, reporting and analysis
* Undertake all AR, AP and weekly payroll functions
* Complete monthly Payroll tax, BAS/IAS returns, credit card and bank reconciliations
* HR including Workers Compensation and Superannuation functions
* Sales Order creation and oversight
* Work with external accountants
* Treasury management and cash flow forecasts
* Be a key member of the leadership team to deliver operational performance objectives
What you'll need:
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance and/or Commerce or studying towards (highly desirable)
* At least 3 years experience in a similar accounting/finance role
* Manufacturing experience with cost analysis (highly desirable)
* Have a solid understanding around BOM, standard costings and inventory control (desirable)
* Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
* Excel and work skills
* Experience with ERP systems
