About The Role
Parabellum International is seeking a Payroll Officer for an immediate start at our newly renovated head office located in the Naval Base, on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Ownership of the payroll function working alongside another Payroll Officer;
* End to end fortnightly payroll processing in Pronto for 300+ employees across multiple companies and multiple payroll cycles;
* Liaising with business leaders regarding timesheets queries;
* Timely submission of Superannuation, PAYG, Payroll Tax and Workers Compensation wage claims;
* Entering new employees and maintaining employee records in Pronto;
* Preparing and entering payroll journals;
* Reviewing and interpreting employee contracts;
* Ensuring compliance with relevant payroll legislation and laws;
* Maintain payroll inbox and address payroll queries.
Qualifications, Experience And Skills
* 3 years+ of payroll experience;
* Experience in Pronto is advantageous;
* Intermediate excel knowledge;
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy;
* Excellent organisation and time management skills;
* Ability to work well in a team environment and independently;
* Maintain confidentiality at all times.
