Are you a fantastic disability support worker?
Regular shifts, flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers $***** p/h weekdays after induction, plus salary packaging (pay less tax) We are seeking Support Workers to assist our client, a young male who is non-verbal and uses a communication device.
This role will be based in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment, where he will be the first resident moving in.
Support requirements include personal care, mealtime management, manual handling, in-home assistance, and community access.
We are looking for support staff who are kind, caring, calm, and patient, and who provide inclusive support that respects and values him as an individual.

Supporting more than 250 clients across metropolitan and regional Victoria and only continuing to grow, we want the people who join us to also believe disability support should enable a life of independence and dignity To do a great job, you'll need: Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to our values Experience supporting people with a physical disability, including manual handling Have great patience and be willing to put in the time and energy to build rapport with client Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives Commitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals.
For example, supporting our clients to complete a regular physiotherapy program Full drivers licence and be willing and comfortable with driving clients vehicle Willingness to work varied shifts; sleepovers, day support including community access, in-home evening support with home duties required.
We also need you to commit to ongoing shifts (more than twice weekly) We are looking to support clients based in Greendale, Kyneton, Heathcote, Bendigo **Please note - when you apply you will receive an email asking you for some further details - please look out for it
As part of our recruitment process, certain checks will be undertaken with your permission, including an NDIS Worker Screening Check that you must have before you can start work.
