These services are part of Tasmania's Hospital Avoidance strategy.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead these services into the future.The RoleThe successful candidate will manage and lead three multidisciplinary teams within a supportive management environment.
This is a dual classified role, concurrently advertised with Manager - Acute Care Stream - Community Mental Health, with only one position to be filled.You Will NeedKnowledge of evidence-based mental health service provision and extensive postgraduate clinical experience in a multidisciplinary mental health team.Management experience in community mental health settings, with the ability to lead and implement the principles of the Tasmanian Mental Health Reform Program and related documents.Understanding of change management processes to facilitate transition and ongoing operation of the specified model of care.Ability to manage human, financial, and physical resources, and to develop strategies to monitor service quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.Refer to the Statement of Duties for detailed selection criteria to address in your application.Why TasmaniaTasmania oversees various hospitals, including Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, and others, providing community health, mental health, and primary healthcare services across over 300 sites.

Hours are negotiable.Note: The selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies for up to twelve months.SalarySalary range: $143,677 to $145,595 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation contribution.
