Job Opportunity: Radiocommunications Technician
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Radiocommunications Technician to join our team in Belmont, WA.
Your role will be responsible for the maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure state-wide.
You will work with a range of technologies including WCDMA/LTE/4G/5G/NBN, installing and maintaining radio base stations, coaxial feeder cables/tails, earthing, cable trays, diplexers, and combiners.
Additional responsibilities include upgrading or installing DC power rack systems, configuring and capturing status for Hand Over Packs (HOP's), commissioning and integrating RBS into the network, conducting PIM, VSWR, and sweep and fibre testing.
Troubleshooting, replacing defective equipment, and monitoring site performance is also key to this role. You will also be responsible for installing and commissioning microwave indoor and outdoor units, software installation, testing, and commissioning of sites, building and maintaining collaborative business relationships with client support personnel.
Key Skills Required:
* Understanding scope of works on build drawings and site survey findings.
* Installing and maintaining WCDMA/LTE/4G/5G/NBN technologies.
* Installation, commissioning, and testing of Nokia and/or Ericsson equipment.
* Current Working at Heights / Tower Rescue Ticket; First Aid and CPR.
* Construction White Card.
* Full Manual Driver's Licence.
* Radhaz RF EME Awareness; Telstra, NBN, Vodafone, Optus 3G/4G experience highly regarded.
