Locations: Salem Home Care, Toowoomba, QLD
Role Type: Casual Positions (available between 6.00am to 6.00pm)
Remuneration: $41.23 - $45.31 ph (includes 25% casual loading) + Super + Salary Packaging + Access to staff discounts & benefits
Your Role – Supporting & Encouraging Growth
At Lutheran Services, we are looking for compassionate and motivated Support Workers to provide flexible, person-centered support to our aged care clients and ageing individuals living at home.
As a Support Worker, your care and support will foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes overall well-being, independence, and reablement.
Responsibilities
* Provide flexible support tailored to client needs and preferences.
* Assist with personal care, daily living tasks & domestic support, including transfers to appointments or shopping, cooking, and house cleaning, while ensuring dignity and independence.
* Encourage community participation and social engagement for ageing clients.
* Support and assist ageing clients with their reablement and wellness goals.
* Work collaboratively with care partners and other stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate documentation of client care and interactions.
What You Bring to The Team
* Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability Support, or Aged Care.
* Experience working with aged care clients.
* A strong passion for empowering individuals with disabilities and older adults.
* A good understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
* A valid Open Queensland Driver's Licence.
* A valid Police Clearance.
