About the role
As a part-time Dental Assistant at Happy Dental, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and patient-focused environment, assisting our experienced dentists and providing high-quality care to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing and maintaining the dental surgery, ensuring a clean and organised work environment
2. Chair-side assisting
3. Sterilising
4. Greeting patients, booking appointments, and handling patient inquiries and paperwork
5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
6. Restocking and ordering dental supplies as needed
What we're looking for
1. A current dental assisting qualification or equivalent experience in a dental or healthcare setting
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment
4. Proficient in the use of dental equipment and software, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
5. A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the practice
