About the Role: We are seeking A Qualified Carpenter or an Experienced Tradesman/Handyman looking for a change to join our team. This is a casual role, Monday - Friday Night & Day shifts. As an experienced trades professional, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our construction site and facilities.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Undertake a variety of general maintenance and repair work, Commercial strip out's, including carpentry, plastering, painting and other building tasks.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, then complete necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
* Work collaboratively with our construction teams to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all relevant health and safety protocols.
* Provide feedback and recommendations to improve processes and efficiencies.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
What We're Looking For:
* Significant experience as a qualified tradesperson, with a broad skill set across multiple trade areas.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and colleagues.
* Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
* A current driver's licence and reliable transportation.
* Forklift licence & EWP not compulsory but is preferred.
* White card.
* Knowledge of the building industry.
* Qualified Tradesman MUST have own tools.
