About The Role
We are currently seeking a Specialist Project Delivery to support the WA Asset Projects. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are safety-focused with a passion for delivery in project operational readiness. Reporting to the Lead Project Delivery, you will be responsible for providing project management and technical expertise throughout the execution phase of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Support the successful delivery of the project in accordance with Our Requirements and Internal Standards.
Manage change processes with relevant operational stakeholders.
Engage and manage consultants and contractors where required to perform the project.
Ensure the project installation verification, commissioning, and handover processes are followed to the approved quality, and meet schedule and cost targets.
Own and direct work across multiple work fronts, adhering to the project execution schedule.
Perform QA/QC on machine installations.
Liaise with the Operations team to enable successful project handover.
Assist the Delivery Lead with project reporting, schedule management, and cost control.
Follow risk management processes, conduct risk assessments, comply with standards, and report on risks to maximize safety and value across projects at BHP.
About You
Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in problem solving and working with multiple stakeholders.
Operational professional capable of developing trusted stakeholder relationships to influence outcomes.
Experience with mining mobile machinery and autonomy within mining.
Masters in Project Management or PMP certification.
Understanding of mining operations.
