About the role:
As Casual Stevedore Coordinator, you'll lead the coordination of port-based transport activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
* Plan and supervise daily stevedoring and transport tasks
* Manage capacity and scheduling in alignment with customer agreements
* Collaborate with stakeholders on operational plans, approvals, and infrastructure works
* Oversee safety, service standards, and compliance within the operational area
* Support incident response and lead investigations as needed
* Maintain accurate reporting and system records, including rosters and payroll
About You:
We're looking for a hands-on leader with strong operational insight and experience in logistics or stevedoring environments.
* Experience in logistics, stevedoring, or transport coordination
* Proven leadership in high-volume, safety-critical settings
* Sound knowledge of safety management systems and compliance frameworks
* Strong planning, scheduling, and conflict resolution skills
* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
* Proficient in using operational systems for planning, reporting, and data entry
* Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
* Flexible and available to work on short notice, including irregular hours and weekends as required
